La Torre del Homenaje de Zahara
The town of Zahara de la Sierra in Cadiz Province , Spain was founded in the 8th century. The castle and tower on the hilltop were built by the Moors in the 13th century and modified over the subsequent two centuries by the Christians after their conquest of the Moors in 1408. Today cacti line the upper path from the pueblo to the tower. The scribing on the cactus is 20th and 21st century.
