A note on 35 mm photography

For ease of reading, the text on the previous page states all my images are created using a 35 mm camera. My many years in engineering and science require me to clarify this statement. All images captured via slide film are 35 mm. Those created via digital camera technology vary depending upon which camera I was using. Earlier digital images are captured slightly less than 35 mm - actually 22.7 mm, while my newer digital images are captured with a 35 mm sensor. The sense is that both film and digital cameras are 35 mm as I use the same lenses and peripheral equipment with all my cameras (a real boon in the movement to digital!) The impact of this slightly smaller capture size is the potential for less resolution when enlarging images.
