We all have the need to leave a mark...

Bubble Gum Alley

In a 70-foot passage between parking and downtown shops, the alley walls are covered with gum. The age and origin are a bit sketchy. Whether art, a right of passage, or sign of a couples love, Bubble Gum Alley is controversial. Despite disagreements, it is listed in the Chamber of Commerce guide and has been around since at least the 1950’s ensuring the continued existence of this San Luis Obispo , California landmark.
