Collective Expression

We all have the need to leave a mark...

El Morro

Known by the Zuni Indians as A'ts'ina, by the Spanish conquistadors as El Morro , and Anglo travelers and settlers as Inscription Rock, El Morro embodies collective expression as few other locations. A reliable, year round waterhole at the base of a bluff in the high desert of New Mexico , El Morro has been collecting personal expressions for over 700 years. There are over 2000 inscriptions and carvings in the sandstone along the base of the rocks.
