Geologic time moves slowly yet the remnants of this epic process – sand, small bits of rock and other minerals - are quite visibly changing. The rapidness with which these changes occur is directly opposed to that of its geologic precursors and provides a constant refresh of intriguing imagery. These fleeting moments mimic the fast pace of the man made world, but cause me to slow down and enjoy the mystery and magic of the forces of nature.
